Nie Daxin, Associate Professor, received his BA (Capital Normal University) in English Language and Literature, MA (Peking University) in Chinese Linguistics and Philology, PhD (Peking University) in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics and Joint Doctoral (EPHE, École Pratique des Hautes Études) in History Texts and Documents. He has joined the School of Chinese Language and Literature, Beijing Normal University since 2014.

His research interest are ① Language contact and Cross-culture Studies, with focuses on texts as well as documents in Ming and Qing dynasty. ② Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL).
