Sun Yinxin, Doctor of Literature, Professor of the School of Letters, Beijing Normal University, and doctoral supervisor.

 

Expertise in Chinese Language and Characters.

Active research on Chinese vocabulary and semantics.

 

Certifications

National Mandarin level tester, Excellent tester of Beijing Language and Character Training and Test Center. Lecturer at Beijing Normal University Putonghua Training and Testing Center. Hanban qualification certificate.

 

Sun has been a visiting professor in the Department of Chinese Language at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, Japan for two years. He has lectured at Singapore University of Social Sciences three times. Instructor of Putonghua Teacher Certificate Course and Putonghua Advanced Teacher Diploma Course for one year at Hong Kong Baptist University. Lecturer for the Mandarin immersion courses at Hong Kong University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong University of Education for many years. Presided over a number of national and provincial scientific research projects. Participated in major project of the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Base of the Ministry of Education, and 211 Project of Beijing Normal University.

 

Teaching

Modern Chinese, modern Chinese vocabulary, modern Chinese grammar, Chinese vocabulary grammar, Chinese and social applications, history of modern Chinese linguistics, introduction to teaching Chinese as a foreign language, modern Chinese research methods, Chinese, and more than 10 courses such as selective reading of lexical works, special topics of modern Chinese, anthology and writing, research methods of Chinese language and philology.

 

Publications include two monographs, two cooperative textbooks, and dozens of papers in important journals at home and abroad.

 

He has won the second prize of Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievements, and the first prize of Beijing University Young Teachers Teaching Basic Skills Competition.
